Embraceing 30!!

So yesterday was the big one!
I had been fretting about turning 30 for a while. Since I had realised that Burk was turning thirty and thought that must mean I was married to an OLD man and only shortly to follow and be the "old bag."
But the more I thought about it and considered how I pride myself on being a "cup is half full person" I thought I better just suck it up. And then I thought I could do better than just suck it up. There are tons of things to be thankful for at thirty.
1- I made it this far, so many don't.
2- knowledge, from lessons learned while still young, really how much did any if us "know" about life at 20?
3- A marriage that has been through all the new stuff, and is finally on to real life the true happiness, to a man who I have loved since I was 16 and stupid, and still love, probably more now even though he is OLD.
4- For a healthy family.
5- For the gospel, for knowledge and faith in repentance.
6- For a home new to us, that on paper is almost our dream home.
7- For a job that I love
8- For great friends
9- For food to eat, cars to drive, and clothes to wear.
10- And for COMMENTS LEFT ON MY BLOG!! :)
So it turns out, 30 isn't that bad!! And I am happy to be here!

Isn't it funny how old you thought your mom was when she was your age. Don't worry, life gets better with age! Happy Birthday!

I will have to start creating the best route there to get my cravings in. Good to chat with you last night, fun to get to know you. Brittney Miller
